Youth Flag Football Leagues
Flag Football volunteer coach led and focuses on basic skills, building a love for the game, gaining knowledge of the the sport and most importantly having fun! At the Y, what happens off the field is just as important as what happens on the field. By stressing the importance of teamwork and teaching the Y’s core values of Caring, Honest, Respect, Responsibility and Faith, our youth sports leagues teach kids how to be good sports and good citizens.
Parents and Volunteers: Key to Our Success
The YMCA of Greater Toledo Youth Sports program serves more than 4,500 youth every year, providing many kids with their very first experience with sports and teamwork. To continue serving our communities, we need your help. Please consider being a volunteer coach or team assistant.
NFL Flag Football (Ages 5-6)
Session runs for 8 weeks. Practices are during the week at Francis Family YMCA. Games are played on Saturday afternoons at Wolf Creek.
Equipment required by parent/guardian = athletic pants/shorts and athletic shoes (Rubber cleats are allowed but cleats are not required to participate).
Equipment provided by the program = NFL Team Reversible Jersey and flag football belt.

NFL Flag Football (Ages 5-8)
Join the Fort Meigs YMCA NFL Flag Football League! The league is open to children ages 5-8. The program will run for 8 weeks with practices occurring during the week on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Games will occur late Saturday mornings/early Saturday afternoons.
Each child registered will receive an NFL Flag jersey and flag belt. Rubber cleats are allowed but are not required.
