This hands-on workshop is designed especially for our Active Older Adults who enjoy learning new skills and creating something beautiful (and delicious!).

Participants will learn how to design and assemble their own personal charcuterie board, complete with a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, and accompaniments. 🍓🥓🧀

Each year, Medicare loses BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to improper claims. This puts the Medicare trust fund at risk for everyone and affects the future of the Medicare program.

Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse also affect current Medicare beneficiaries because they result in higher Medicare premiums and waste money that could be used to increase and improve health care services. If you have been one of the millions of people to experience Medicare fraud, know that it isn’t your fault and that the Ohio Senior Medicare Patrol can help! This presentation will help you stay on the lookout for current scams and we’ll share what to do if you or a loved one has been affected by a Medicare scam.

Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the theatre, including backstage areas not typically seen by the public, while learning about the rich history and architectural significance of the Valentine Theatre building.

This engaging experience offers a closer look at how the theatre operates, stories from its past, and the role it has played in Toledo’s cultural history. The program is designed for Active Older Adults who enjoy local history, arts, and unique behind-the-scenes experiences.
