Active Older Adult Special Events
Our Active Older Adult (AOA) programs are designed for men and women in their 50’s and older. Each YMCA of Greater Toledo branch offers different programming, promoting fitness and well-being while fostering friendships and camaraderie. Check the branch nearest you for current information. Branches of the YMCA of Greater Toledo offer SilverSneakers®, Silver & Fit®, and Renew Active®.

Educational Speaker/Demonstration
Fall Pumpkin Craft
Get creative this fall with our Active Older Adult Craft Class! Participants will start with a 12-inch wooden pumpkin and learn how to apply beautiful fall-themed napkin transfers to create a unique seasonal decoration. After the transfer is complete, we’ll add charming embellishments to give your pumpkin that perfect finishing touch. No experience necessary—just bring your love of crafting and seasonal cheer! All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind fall decoration ready to display or gift.

Frankenmuth Bus Trip
Spend the day in Frankenmuth, Michigan with your friends exploring, shopping and eating. The trip will include lunch at Zenders, downtown shopping, Bronners Christmas Store and the St. Julian Winery.
