Task Force 20 Membership

The Y is honored to partner with Task Force 20.  Task Force 20 is a local non-profit that works to connect veterans who have PTSD to fitness and wellenss activities to improve thier mental state and reduce the rate of veteran suicide.  

How to Enroll in Task Force 20 Membership?

Membership under this offering cannot be established at any of our 10 branch locations.  Members wishing to apply for a Task Force 20 Membership, will need to contact Task Force 20 directly.

Hero Discount Membership 

All active duty military, veterans and first responders are eligible to receive a 15% discount off of the current published membership rates.  It’s our way of giving back to those who have given so much to serve our country and our local communities.  

How to Enroll in the Hero Discount Membership?

Visit one of our 10 branch locations membership desk and let the staff know you are applying for a Hero Discount Membership. 

Hero Discount Verification Process

Verification of your household income along with proof of your military status and or first responder is required within 7 days of enrollment.  

Documents that are accepted:

Active Duty Military, Reserves, National Guard 
  • Valid Military Issue ID
  • Valid Dependent ID
Veterans
  • DD214 paperwork 
  • Valid State Issued ID with Veteran Identifier 
  • Valid VA ID Card 
First Responder
  • Valid Department Specific ID
Household Income
  • Most recent 10-40
  • Social Security income statement
  • Disability statement
  • Retirement statement

The YMCA of Greater Toledo proudly participates in the Department of Defense & YMCA Armed Forces Military Outreach Programs.  

How to Enroll in a DOD Membership?

Membership under this offering cannot be established at any of our 10 branch locations.  Members wishing to apply for a DOD Membership, will need to contact their Commanding Officer for enrollment.
